'Kalki’ director admits that the movie went wrong
'Awe’ movie fame, Prashant Varma himself had admitted that his latest movie Kalki wasn’t able to satisfy the multiplex audience at 'A' centers. He even after with the critics. He added, if he had to write the review of Kalki movie, then he would have written the same way the critics have written.
He said that he might have written that the first half didn’t go very well while the second half did relatively better compared to the first half. 'Kalki’, starring Dr. Rajashekar, directed by Prashanth Varma didn't seem to have set cash counters on the rush. However previous films by both of them, Garuda Vega and Awe respectively were good hits in Tollywood film industry.
The director even accepted that he had remade many scenes to reach market demands and revealed that this subject was usually developed to be a web series but went on as a movie with Rajashekar.
He even said that, as the teaser and trailer got a huge response, he had shot some scenes again to increase the action stunts which led to excess commercialization of the movie which happened to be the biggest flaw of Kalki.
