Kalyani Priyadarshan made her debut into films with 2017 romantic drama Hello. Later, she acted in Telugu films like Chitralahari and Ranarangam. Now, she is all set to make her debut into the Tamil film industry with the film Hero. Directed by PS Mithran, this film features SivaKartikeyan in the lead role.
On the eve of the film's release, Kalyani Priyadarshan shared her excitement of working for such a good project. She hoped that the audience accepts her well in her maiden Tamil venture. She tweeted, "Being a part of Tamil films has been my dream for the longest time. I’ve given my heart to Meera. After tomorrow, I hope you guys accept me as one of yours."
Hero movie has hit the screens worldwide today and is getting positive reviews from everywhere. It deals with the story of a common man who dons a superhero vigilante role in order to curb the devils of society. Action King Arjun and Bollywood actor Abhay Deol also played important roles in this film. Kalyani's performance is also getting a good response from the audience and looks like, the young girl scored a hit with her first Tamil film. Meanwhile, Kalyani is now busy shooting for a couple of Malayalam films as well.
