Kamal Haasan takes a jab at Stalin and Rajinikanth

Kamal Haasan, the actor-turned-politician took a jab at DMK President M.K. Stalin and Rajinikanth at the Rotaract Annual District Conference held at Chennai.
Kamal Haasan blamed the government for ignoring the Gram Sabhas which are there for decades. He started holding meetings in villages in Tamil Nadu in the process of knowing the problems and ways to mitigate them.
The founder of MNM party attributed to DMK President M.K. Stalin and other parties for copying them in holding Gram Sabha meetings. "Are you not ashamed of copying from an amateur in politics like me?” he questioned.
Referring to the incident where Stalin came out of the Tamil Nadu Assembly in the torn shirt when the AIADMK government led by Chief Minister K. Palaniswami sought the vote of confidence, Kamal Haasan said he cannot be wearing a torn shirt, and even if his shirt gets torn in the Assembly, he would wear another shirt.
Kamal Haasan even took a dig at Rajinikanth regarding the Lok Sabha elections, saying, “After oiling one's body and slapping of thighs, one should not back out from the wrestling field.” As Rajinikanth announced his decision not to contest in the Lok Sabha polls the fan base is all sceptical about the statements passed.
