Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' Enters Busan International Film Festival

Vikram’ will be featured at the 27th Busan International Film Festival this year. ‘Vikram’ is set to screen under the Open Cinema category at the upcoming movie gala, which will take place from October 5 - 14.

Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' Enters Busan International Film Festival

The last time Kamal Haasan was on screen was in Lokesh Kanagaraj's movie "Vikram." This fast-paced action thriller's key roles were Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil. In the movie, Suriya has a protracted cameo appearance. The film's 100-day theatrical run was also acknowledged by the filmmakers last month.

 
One of the top blockbusters in Kollywood this year, "Vikram" reportedly garnered Rs 400 crore at the box office after its release on June 3. Additionally, the movie shattered previous benchmarks and took the top spot at the UK box office. The movie garnered positive reviews and was widely praised by critics, moviegoers, and fans.
 
In addition, this year's 27th Busan International Film Festival will screen "Vikram." The forthcoming film gala, which will run from October 5 to 14, "Vikram", is scheduled to be shown in the Open Cinema category. The film's creators tweeted, "The response to Vikram has been tremendous throughout the world. The selection of the Busan International Film Festival is a triumph for the entire team and adds to the film's resume. We are grateful for all the love and adoration from the audiences and delighted that our movie is being shown among some of the best ones in the world.
 
According to reports, Vikram will be honored as the "new and internationally recognized film that finds the right balance between popular and creative cinema" at the Busan International Film Festival in 2022.
