Kangana Ranaut Praises SS Rajamouli For His Excellent Acceptance Speech At The 28th Critics' Choice Awards

Recently, the SS Rajamouli film RRR made history when its song "Naatu Naatu" won the award for Best Original Song at the 80th Golden Globe Awards. Even though the victory is still being celebrated all around the nation, there is another cause to enjoy. The magnum opus starring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR has won two more accolades at the 28th annual Critics' Choice Awards. Kangana Ranaut showered SS Rajamouli with praise for attributing his victory to the female figures in his life.

For those who are unfamiliar, SS Rajamouli stated in his acceptance speech, “To all the women in my life, my mother Rajnandani, she thought school education was overrated and she encouraged me to read comics and story books and she encouraged my creativity. My sister-in-law Sreevalli, who became like a mother to me, she always encourages me to be the best version of myself.”

He continued, “My wife Rama, she is a costume designer of my films but more than that she is the designer of my life. If she is not there, I am not here today. To my daughters, they don't do anything, just their smile is enough to light my life up. Finally to my motherland, India, Bharat, Mera Bharat Mahan. Jai Hind. Thank you.”

The Queen actress responded to the same by writing, “Since Indians are declared the most successful community in the USA and most places be honest, many are wondering how do we do this, even after starting from a scratch most of it comes from our strong family system... we really get a lot of emotional +financial +mental support from our families ... and families are build, nurtured and glued together by women.”

Returning to RRR, the movie won two categories at a Los Angeles ceremony. It included Best Foreign Language Film and Best Song for the song "Naatu Naatu."
