Kangana Ranaut Shows Support For Same-Sex Marriage, Receives Thanks From Writer Apurva Asrani

The Supreme Court of India is currently hearing the validation of same-sex marriage, and actor Kangana Ranaut has shared her opinion on the matter, showing support for same-sex marriages. Writer Apurva Asrani has reacted to Kangana's statement, thanking her for speaking up.

During a recent media interaction, Kangana said, “Marriage is a matter of the heart, and everyone knows that. When hearts have met, what can we say about people's preferences?” In response, Apurva tweeted,

This is not the first time that Kangana has spoken about the topic. A few days ago, she expressed her views on the ongoing same-sex marriage case in the Supreme Court via Twitter. She said, "Whatever your sexual preferences are they must remain in your bed only. Don't make them your identity card or medals and flaunt them everywhere." Kangana was last seen in Dhakkad, which underperformed at the box office. She will be next seen in Chandramukhi 2 and her solo directorial debut Emergency. She also has the Hindi film Tejas in the pipeline, where she will be seen as an Air Force pilot.
