Kangana Ranaut starrer Mental Hai Kya to clash with Hrithik Roshan's Super 30
Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer Mental Hai Kya will now release on July 26, as per the movie makers. However, the film is on the clash with the Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 which has the same release date.
Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures has put a statement on this on twitter due to speculations looming around it. The statement reads "The shift in the release date is a decision taken after recommendations from the distributors, trade analysts and a yop research team, keeping in mind the other releases a week before and after this date. We have thus been advised to shift the release of our movie to 26th July, purely for business prospects.
On knowing that there is already a movie scheduled for a release on that date, we did everything in our purview to ensure the other parties that there will be no mudslinging and it will be a dignified release. We stand by assuring that to all other parties." Also states that decision was taken considering better prospects for the movie at the box office.
Mental Hai Kya was initially supposed to release on March 29 and later shifted to June 21 and now postponed to July 26.
Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 supposed to release in January 2019 but later changed the release date to July 26.
