Kannada superstar Shivaraj Kumar was last seen in the recent release Drona. The film had hit the screens on the 6th of March. He is a well-known face in the Telugu film industry as well. He is best known for the film Killing Veerappan. Shivanna has also acted in a cameo in Nandamuri Balakrishna's historical drama Gautami Putra Shatakarni. Now, we hear that he is all set to act in a Telugu-Kannada bilingual soon.
According to the sources, Shiva Rajkumar has recently signed a new film with debut Telugu filmmaker Shiva Dhulipudi. Apparently, Shiva Rajkumar will portray a never seen before avatar in this before. We hear that the makers are planning to release the film in both Tamil and Telugu languages. Shiva Dhulipudi and Srinivas Reddy will jointly produce the project. The regular shooting of this film will get started in September this year. More details on the rest of the cast and crew will be out soon. Shiva Rajkumar is eyeing to expand his base in the Telugu film industry with this film.
Meanwhile, Shiva Rajkumar is currently acting in Kannada films like Bhajarangi 2, RDX and Bairathi Ranagallu. Bhajarangi 2 is a sequel of his 2013 hit film of the same name. A. Harsha, who helmed the first part, is also directing this sequel as well. RDX is a commercial action entertainer which is being directed by Ravi Arasu. Bhairathi Ranagallu is being helmed by Narathan. Both RDX and Bhairathi Ranagallu are aiming for a release in 2021.
