After a hiatus of two years, Challenging Star Darshan made his comeback last year with the film Yajamana. He also acted in the mythological drama Kurukshetra, which also got released in 2019. Currently, Darshan is working on a historical movie called Raja Veera Madakari Nayaka. This film is being directed by SV Rajender Singh Babu.
The shoot of this film began a few months back and now, the makers are in Kerala on the works of a new schedule. The team has erected a set which resembles a Gurukula, amidst the dense forests of Kerala. The childhood sequences of Madakari Nayaka will get canned in this schedule. The shoot will take place in this set till the 15th of this month. After that, Darshan will be back to Bengaluru, to celebrate his birthday, which is on the 16th of February. Darshan has already instructed his fans to not buy any banners and instead, asked them to distribute the groceries to the people who are in need, using the same money.
Raja Veera Madakari Nayaka is the biopic of the 16th-century ruler of the same name. He ruled the Nayaka community in the Chitradurga region. Thus, as it is a real story, there is huge anticipation on this film.
