Kantara Poses A Massive Threat For Diwali Releases

Kantara is a film that has shocked one and all. Until last week, not many even knew that such a film is coming out. But the word of mouth is so strong that the film's collections have raised terrifically all over the country. The film was released in Telugu on Saturday and has already crossed the 20 crore mark as we speak. Allu Aravind has made double the profit from this film.

But the topic now is about the danger this film is going cause for this week's Diwali releases. As many as four films are going to release this Friday. Vishwak Sen's Ori Devuda, Karthi's Sardar, Siva Karthikeyan's Prince, and Vishnu Manchu's Ginna. All the films have decent hype and will see decent crowds at the theaters. 

Ori Devuda is produced by PVP Cinema and Sri Venkateswara Creations. Ginna has been produced by Vishnu Manchu's home banner. Karthi's Sardar is releasing in a big way in Telugu as it is the next film of Karthi post-PS-1. Lastly, Prince is being directed by Anudeep who scored a blockbuster hit in the form of Jathi Rathnalu. 

But as Kantara is in full swing, trade pundits feel that all the Diwali releases will be severely affected for sure. Allu Aravind is also not leaving any stone unturned for this film and is promoting it highly. A success meet is going to be held tomorrow along with a press show. As Diwali is also coming in on the weekend, Kantara will go to the next level occupancy-wise.  But for the general audience, there is a lot to look forward to this week.
