Kapil Sharma will be making a special appearance in the upcoming film, The Crew. The film, directed by Rajesh Krishnan, focuses on the lives of women in the airline industry, and stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu in leading roles. Diljit Dosanjh is also set to play an important part in the film.
According to a source close to the production, Kapil Sharma’s role in the film will be a pleasant surprise for viewers. “Kapil has an amazing role in The Crew, and the team is extremely excited to have him onboard. In fact, his role will be a pleasant surprise for the audience. He will start filming for it soon,” the source revealed.
Kriti Sanon had already started shooting for the film last month, while Kareena Kapoor Khan recently joined the cast. Tabu is set to join them on set this week, and the trio will soon begin filming their combination scenes. The cast is also expected to travel abroad for an important schedule of the movie.
The Crew is a project by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor, who previously collaborated on Veere Di Wedding. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Ekta had praised the leading ladies of the film. “Tabu, Kareena and Kriti, all of them have a distinct charm that they bring onto the screen. Their acting prowess and captivating enigma have made them the leading ladies in their era of Bollywood. Each one of them has ruled in their decade and continues to wow audiences. It could have been none other than these three as the protagonists of ‘The Crew’. This is a dream ensemble, and we couldn’t have been more excited,” she said.
