The seventh edition of Koffee With Karan, Karan Johar's conversation program, has returned. The on-screen father-and-son team Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan were the two celebrities that stopped by KJo's show. The Jugjugg Jeeyo performers were at their most open discussions. They discussed relationships, cheating, role-playing, nepotism, and other topics. Karan talked openly about his relationship throughout their conversation. He admitted that he had broken it up. Varun Dhawan was supportive of his relationship, he added.
Karan brought up the subject of infidelity and how there is a lot of emphasis on loyalty in marriage. Before settling on his high school girlfriend Natasha Dalal, Varun had many "interactions" with different girls, according to him. At that point, Varun questioned Karan on why he finds the subject of infidelity so compelling. Karan responded that he is generally curious about human nature. Varun enquired about the director's experience with cheating on partners or being the victim of it.
At first, Varun questioned Karan's denial of being in one, saying, “You are saying you are not in a relationship, on National TV right now.” “You know I am not and you know I broke up.” Varun grinned as he listened to this and stated that he only wished to bring that out. Karan went on to say, “You know I broke up and you were very supportive in that relationship. Thank you very much, but I broke up.”
Karan is now a judge on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 10, a popular dance competition, besides to Koffee With Karan 7. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, marks his return to directing as well.
