Kareena Kapoor Praises Diljit Dosanjg After His Coachella Debut

Kareena Kapoor has expressed her excitement after Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh became the first ever Punjabi artist to perform at the Coachella music festival. She took to Instagram on Sunday to post a clip of Diljit's performance at the event. The singer was seen in an all-black ensemble. He performed several of his songs to cheers from the audience. Rapper Badshah also shared a post of Diljit performing at the event on his Instagram Stories. He tagged the singer and calling it a "historic moment".

Diljit Dosanjh was not the only artist to perform at Coachella. The artist Bad Bunny was the first Spanish-language and first Latin-American act to headline the festival. Belgium's pop star Angele also made her Coachella debut in a coveted nighttime slot. She debuted alongside other performers such as Becky G and Eladio Carrion. Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Kali Uchis, Blackpink and Frank Ocean also performed. Kareena Kapoor is set to star alongside Diljit in the upcoming film The Crew, alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The film, helmed by Rajesh Krishnan, follows the story of three women set against the backdrop of the struggling airline industry. Meanwhile, Kareena will also feature in Sujoy Ghosh's next thriller film, which is based on the book The Devotion Of Suspect X and co-stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat.
