Karthi to work with Aishwarya Rajesh's director

Talented actor Karthi scored a big hit with his recent film Khaithi. After that, he came up with Thambi which remained as a below-average fare. Currently, he is busy with two films, one is Sultan which is being directed by Bakkiaraj Kannan of Remo fame. The other one is multi-starrer magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan which is being directed by maverick director Mani Ratnam. Now, we hear that the Khakhi actor has signed one more film.

According to the Kollywood sources, Karthi will play the lead role in director Arunraja Kamaraj's next movie. Arunraja Kamaraj made his directorial debut with the film Kanaa. This film will be his second venture as a director. Kanaa was a hit at the box office and also got remade into Telugu as Kousalya Krishnamurthy. In fact, Arunraja Kamaraj was actually supposed to do a film with Siva Karthikeyan, but we hear that he is now planning to do it with Karthi. The talks are already over and Karthi has also given his nod to do this film. We will get more details on the rest of the cast and crew of the film, very soon.
