Karthik Subbaraj to team up with Chiyaan Vikram for the actor's 60th film; Talks underway and a final announcement comes soon

Karthik Subbaraj of 'Pizza', 'Jigarthanda' fame recently joined hands with South superstar Rajinikanth for 'Petta' movie. Now, the director is currently working on Dhanush's 'Jagame Thanthiram'. There are a lot of interesting reports in his next film. As per the latest reports, the young director has got an opportunity to direct yet another star hero in Kollywood. Chiyaan Vikram is all set to do a movie with director Karthik Subbaraj. Touted to be the 60th film in Vikram's career, the expectations are high on this film. It seems like the movie is going to have an action-packed Gangster story and Vikram really got impressed with the script. Seven Screen Studios banner which is bankrolling Vikram's current film 'Cobra' is going to pool the resources for this movie as well. The talks are going on and the project is not locked yet. Karthik Subbaraj used the lockdown well and came up with some interesting scripts. He is soon to impress the audiences in theatres. Apart from this, Vikram has to shoot for Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' and also has Ajay Gnanamuthu's 'Cobra' movie in the pipeline. 25% of the shooting is completed and the shooting will get resumed after the lockdown.
