It is expected to make another Rs 50 crore there. The movie has already made more than double its budget. The producers have announced it a smash hit and thrown a huge party to celebrate. At the movie's victory party, the film makers also announced the sequel to "Sardar.
The movie, which was directed by PS Mithran, has the best Diwali box office results in Tamil Nadu. At the box office, Sivakarthikeyan's Prince and Mohanlal's Monster are rivals of Karthi's Sardar.
