The latest box office collection day five update for 'Sardar' indicates that Karthi's spy thriller has surpassed Rs 50 crores. From the first day, 'Sardar' collections have been more significant than the preceding day. The film has earned close to or more than Rs 10 crores in five days, bringing the total to Rs 50 crores after day 5.

The film's Tamil Nadu collection is reportedly about Rs 30 crore, and the film is expected to earn Rs 50 crore in the state. Meanwhile, the film's producers have pronounced it a huge hit, earned double its budget, and celebrated its triumph with a lavish party. 'Sardar' will have a sequel, which the filmmakers announced at the film's celebration party. Karthi plays a dual role in 'Sardar,' while Raashi Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan portray female characters. Laila returns to play a prominent part in the film, and the music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
