Early Wednesday morning, Kartik Aaryan surprised his fans by announcing his next film. The actor is all set to join hands with Sajid Nadiadwala for his next production film called 'Satyanarayan Ki Katha'. The film, which is touted to be a musical love story, will be directed by Sameer Vidwans. Kartik will be starring as the lead in the film.
Sharing a small video clip of the same, Kartik wrote, "A story close to my heart. #SatyanarayanKiKatha. A special film with special people." In a statement earlier, Kartik was quoted as saying, "I have been wanting to work with Sajid sir for some time now, I couldn’t have asked for better collaboration. I’m extremely happy that I am a part of Sajid Sir, Shareen, and Kishor’s vision."
"Satyanarayan Ki Katha is a musical love saga that brings together a powerhouse of people who are National award-winning names. It’s also a first for me with Sameer Vidwans sir who has an astute sense of making sensitive topics highly entertaining," added the 30-year-old actor. Recently, Kartik was pulled out of two mega projects – one being Karan Johar's Dostana 2 and the other being SRK's production film. However, this news of Satyanarayan Ki Kathi has brought fresh hope for all the Kartik Aaryan fans that everything's going well for him in the industry.
