It would be Kartik's comic book debut with a prestigious Indian publishing house. "Kartik is incredibly popular among children, and this change will only increase his appeal to this audience segment. Diamond Comics, the biggest distributor and publisher of comic books in India, will issue the comic book. The popularity of the figure among children gave the idea to turn Rooh Baba into a comic book avatar, says a source familiar with the project.
For those who don't know, Chacha Chaudhary, Billoo, Pinki, and Motu Patlu are just a few of the well-known characters created by Diamond Comics. Speaking of Kartik, he is now finishing the Kriti Sanon-assisted comedy Shehzada, directed by Rohit Dhawan. The actor will soon enter the realm of Sajid Nadiadwala's Satyaprem Ki Katha before moving on to Hansal Mehta's Captain India. He also has Kabir Khan's next directorial project in the works.
On Tuesday night, Kartik teased his followers on social media with the promise of a significant update. "A big update for my Lil Fans, coming soon," the actor had written in a post.
