Katrina Kaif tests negative for COVID-19, says 'thanks everyone who checked up on me'

After her rumoured boyfriend Vicky Kaushal recovered from COVID-19, Katrina Kaif too announced she has tested negative for the virus. Sharing a happy picture on her social media, Katrina Kaif wrote, "Negative. Thank you everyone who checked up on me. It was really sweet and felt a lot of (yellow heart emoji)." In the picture, Katrina is sitting in a lemon hued sweater and pants as she smiled for the camera.

When Katrina had tested positive, she had released an official statement. It read, "I have tested positive for Covid-19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I'm following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too. Grateful for all your love & support. Please stay safe and take care."
Yesterday, Vicky Kaushal had also shared a dashing picture of himself and announced his negative report. Before Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt had announced the same. Alia had contracted the virus while she was shooting for her film Gangubai Kathiawadi. She instantly isolated herself and took all the precautionary measures. Others who are still positive for COVID-19 are Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Manish Malhotra, etc. Akshay Kumar had hospitalised himself for precautionary reasons and is still under observation.
