Katy Perry spills the beans about her bond with Taylor Swift, says they are not that close

American pop singers Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have had their share of ups and downs. There were rumors going around that there's a rift between the two singers. In an interview with Stellar Magazine, Katy Perry spills the beans about the relationship she shares with Taylor Swift. The singer revealed that they both are not that close to each other. "We don’t have a very close relationship because we are very busy, but we text a lot,” she said, adding, “I was impressed by her documentary (Miss Americana) because I saw some self-awareness starting to happen and I saw a lot of vulnerability,” she said

The 35-years old singer added, "I was really excited for her to be able to show that to the world: that things aren’t perfect. They don’t have to be and it’s more beautiful when they aren’t. Even though it was difficult, it was important to make that appear in the music video, because people want people to look up to.” Katy Perry is referring to the music album of Taylor Swift which came last year. The name of the track is 'You Need To Calm Down' and it features both the pop singers together. When the music video came out last year, the audience was very excited about their friendship. They thought that the singers have buried the hatchet and have moved on. But it looks like there's still a wall between the two and they are not ready yet to let it go.
