Keerthy Suresh's celebrated the announcement of her film Penguin that is to air on Amazon Prime on June 19th. All things seem to be falling in place for the actress. She is looking forward to appearing in several films in the next two years. However, it looks like it hasn't been a smooth sailing towards success either. According to sources, there were some funding issues with her upcoming film Good Luck Sakhi. Fortunately, producer Dil Raju has stepped in to support the actress.
Newcomers Shravya Varma and Sudheer Chandra were to produce Keerty Suresh's Good Luck Sakhi. Reports say that nearly half of the total budget (12 crores) for the film has been spent. However, the makers have only finished working on half of the film. A budget hike is inevitable. Thus, the producers reportedly approached Dil Raju for help. Producer Dil Raju has now agreed to finish her film and return Shravya Varma and Sudheer Chandra's original investment! That was quite a save for Good Luck Sakhi.
She is all set to appear in a number of Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films. She will appear in the Telugu film Miss India. Directed by Narendra Nath, Miss India is a romantic drama. It also stars actors, Jagapati Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Naveen Chandra, Kamal Kamaraju, Naresh, Nadhiya and Pujita Ponnada. The film was to hit the theatres on April 17th, 2020. The release date now stands postponed owing to the coronavirus lockdown. Keerthy will also appear in the Tamil film Penguin. She will appear as a part of an ensemble cast in the Rajinikanth starrer Annaatthe. She will also appear as a part of an ensemble cast in the epic Malayalam film Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham.
