Keerthy Suresh to do the sequel of prestigious super hit Tamil film Sigappu Rojakkal; Film released as Erra Gulabeelu in Telugu

Sigappu Rojakkal is a super hit Tamil film that released way back in the year 1978. Bharathi Raja penned and directed this psychological thriller. The film also released in Telugu, with the title Erra Gulabeelu. Kamal Haasan and Sridevi played the lead roles in the film. Now, there is a discussion about the sequel of the film. Bharathi Raja steps forward to pen the story for the second part, along with taking care of the production. Bharathi Raja's son Manoj is set to direct the second part of the film. The interesting reports reveal that Keerthy Suresh will step in, to play the leading lady in the film.

According to the film's story, it tells the story of Samar, who grows to despise girls and indulges in women trafficking. He has a dark past that he finds it hard to put aside. But, in some circumstances, he gets caught and sent to an asylum. There, he falls for a lady prisoner. What happens after that, is beautifully portrayed on the big screen. While Keerthy Suresh reprises the role of Sridevi, there is no information on the male lead of the film. The makers want to take a young hero who is popular in both Telugu and Tamil languages.
