Malayalam actor Sreenath Bhasi made headlines recently after he was arrested and released on bail in abuse case. A female journalist and anchor filed a complaint against Sreenath Bhasi accusing him of abusing her. The actor visited the police station along with his lawyer. After her was let out on bail, a meeting was held by the Kerala Film Producers's Association (KFPA) on September 27. During the meeting, the association imposed a temporary ban on Sreenath Bhasi and dediced not to co-operate with the actor for new projects.
Based on the decision taken by the association, Sreenath Bhasi will not be able to sign any new projects. However, he will be allowed to complete the existing projects. Reportedly, Sreenath Bhasi appeared before the association on September 27 and accepted his mistake. Since Sreenath Bhasi agreed on committing the mistake, they association gave a temporary ban. However, it isn't clear when the ban would be lifted. Meanwhile, the police officials are investigating the case. They collected samples of Sreenath Bhasi's hair, nails and blood to determine if he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the interview.
