One of the most anticipated films of this year is KGF Chapter: 2. The first part of this franchise was a big hit in all the five languages it got released in. Thus, a lot of expectations are riding on this sequel. Finally, the makers have announced the release date of this film. KGF Chapter 2 will now hit the screens worldwide on the 23rd of October this year.
The makers have shared the release date through anew poster of the movie. The poster features the shadow of a hero Yash walking to start the battle. KGF traces the life of a gangster named Rocky Bhai who went from rags to riches. The story takes place in the backdrop of Kolar Gold Fields. Prashanth Neel is directing this action thriller. The team has recently shot a major schedule of the film in Hyderabad. Now, only a few portions are there to get filmed and they will get done in a couple of months. After that, the team will get busy in the postproduction works of this high octane action entertainer. We hear that the second look of the film will get revealed soon.
KGF 2 features Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is playing the role of the main antagonist in it. Another B-Town starlet Raveena Tandon is essaying a key role in the film. KGF 2 also features Rao Ramesh and Anant Nag in pivotal characters. The film is being bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films.
