Khushbu Sundar celebrates 30 years of Chinna Thambi

Chinna Thambi is an iconic Tamil film which stars Prabhu and Khushbu. Today marks Chinna Thambi's 30th anniversary. The film, directed by P Vasu,was a blockbuster hit and ran for over 356 days in 9 screens and 100 days in over 45 screens. On this special day, Khushbu Sundar took to Twitter to share a poster of Chinna Thambi and penned a heartfelt note. Khushbu Sundar's performance still lingers in everyone's mind, especially in Nee Enge En Anbe song.

Khushbu wrote, "What a cult we made!! 30yrs since this gem released. Time flies so fast. Will always be indebted to my director #PVasuSir, #Isaignaniilaiyaraja My producer #KBalu (we lost him recently) My fav co-star #PrabhuSir and you for all the love showered. #30yrsofChinnaThambi #thebest (sic)." Chinna Thambi follows the story of an uneducated peson played by Prabhu falling in love with an educated wooman (played by Khushbu). Chinna Thambi was remade in other languages. It was remade in Kannada as Ramachaari, Telugu as Chanti and Hindi as Anari. The film also stars Manorama, Radha Ravi and Goundamani.
