Mission Majnu, starring Siddharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna, is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on January 20. The trailer for the upcoming movie was just released by the makers. As soon as the Mission Majnu trailer debuted on Monday, January 8, fans showered the lead actors with praise. Along with this, a number of celebrities commented on the trailer as well. This included Kiara Advani, who is rumoured to be Sidharth's girlfriend.
Kiara posted the Mission Majnu trailer with her fans on the story section of her Instagram account a few hours after it had been released. The actress offered a shout-out to the Sidharth Malhotra blockbuster and included a number of fire emoticons in her picture having kept the text short.
In response, Sidharth reposted the story on his handle and added the words "Thank Ki" and an emoticon of a smile.
It's worth noting that during the trailer launch ceremony, Sidharth was asked about his "personal life mission for 2023," amid rumours of his wedding to Kiara. “I am a very passionate actor. For me, my personal and professional life are the same. For now, my mission is this (Mission Majnu) for January 20. After that, if we meet, I’ll tell you”, a blushing Sidharth added.
In the forthcoming movie, Sidharth plays an Indian agent who works undercover in Pakistan. The movie is directed by Shantanu Bagchi. It is produced by Ronnie Screwvala (RSVP), Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta (Guilty By Association Media). Rashmika Mandanna, Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi, Kumud Mishra, Zakir Hussain, and Mir Sarwar are also part of the movie.
