KN Sasidharan, A Great Malayalam Director, Passes Away

He was 72. He was residing at his home in Edappally, Kochi, according to sources. The funeral for Sasidharan will take place this evening. He has two children Rithu Sasidharan, and Mukhil Sasidharan. his wife is Veena Sasidharan.

 
KN Sasidharan received his degree at the Pune Film Institute. He established his Mollywood directorial debut with the 1984 movie Akkare. The movie starred Bharat Gopy, Madhavi, Mammootty, Nedumudi Venu, Mohanlal, Rani Padmini, Sreenivasan, and VK Sriraman. The plot of the movie was adapted from PK Nandhanavarma's novel of the same name.
 
"Kanathaya Penkutty," a crime mystery film that was released in 1985, was directed by KN Sasidharan. It was his second film. The mystery surrounding the disappearance of a girl. She was thought to have been murdered by a family member. It was the subject of Babu Mathews' narrative. In this movie, key parts were played by Bharat Gopy, Jayabharati, Mammootty, Ramachandran, and VK Sriraman.
 
The earlier movie that KN Sasidharan directed, was titled "Nayana". Came out in 2014 and told the tale of a seven-year-old artist of the same name. In the drama movie, actors Miya George, Jagadish, Kalpana, and Anupam Kher had major parts.
 
Besides being a director, KN Sasidharan is well-known for his work as an advertisement director. He has created many notable television commercials. He directed the well-known "Vannallo Vanamala" washing soap commercial.
