Kriti Sanon is quite nervous and excited at the same time about her next movie Mimi. She said that she is happy to be part of the movie in which she plays a surrogate mother. This is going to be her first woman-centric film which is adding to her excitement.
The movie is being directed by Laxman Utekar who earlier made ‘Luka Chuppi’ with the actress. Kriti Sanon said that the movie has all emotions in the right place. She added that the movie is going to make us laugh, smile, weep, feel good and everything to make us emotional.
Mimi is inspired from a Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy which won National award for a best feature film in Marathi for the year 2011. The movie revolves around the concept of surrogacy and its acceptance in India.
