The Ottu aka Rendagam Malayalam-Tamil bilingual, starring Kunchacko Boban and Eesha Rebba, will be hitting the screens on September 2. This bilingual film will see Malayalam actor Kunchacko Boban, who is currently enjoying the success of his most recent project Nna, Thaan Case Kodu, make his Tamil debut.
A motion poster released to publicise the movie's release date makes the action thriller movie looks promising. Arvind Swami and Jackie Shroff have important roles in the TP Fellini-directed movie as well. With the high-profile film, both actors are making their Malayalam comebacks.
Two friends played by Kunchacko and Arvind Swami, are central to the movie's plot. On the journey from Mangalore to Mumbai, the crux develops. Aadukalam Naren, Amalda Liz, and Jins Baskar star in the Arya and Shaji Nadesan-produced movie. The movie, which will be released in Tamil as Rendagam and Malayalam as Ottu, was filmed in and near Kerala, Goa, Mangalore, Mumbai, and Pune.
Nna, Thaan Case Kodu, Kunchacko Boban's most recent film, opened in theatres on August 11 and is apparently drawing large crowds. Positive reviews greeted the movie's debut.
In a previous interview, Boban referred to his forthcoming movie as "the most expensive movie" in his professional life and expressed excitement for the project.
According to Kunchacko Boban, the movie, a thriller and an entertainer, might be said to be a pan-Indian film because its theme can be placed anywhere.
