'Laal Singh Chaddha' Reports Dull Advance Ticket Booking Figures

'Laal Singh Chaddha' Reports Dull Advance Ticket Booking Figures

'Laal Singh Chaddha,' starring Aamir Khan, Naga Chaitanya, and Kareena Kapoor, will be released tomorrow, August 11th, 2022, coinciding with 'Raksha Bandhan' and 'Independence Day' week. The film will also conflict with numerous other films launching this week, including Nithiin's 'Macherla Niyojakavargam' in Telugu and 'Raksha Bandhan' in Hindi.

 
However, the film's advanced bookings started on the 5th of this month, and the figures below show how much money the picture has made even before its premiere. The Hindi version of the film is said to have made roughly Rs 3.4 crores from advance ticket sales. In comparison, the Telugu version earned just 4.5 lakhs, while the Tamil version has earned only Rs 3.10 lakhs thus far.
 
According to sources, about 56k seats were reserved for the film on its opening day, with average ticket pricing of Rs 213 for Hindi, Rs 146 for Tamil, and Rs 128 for Telugu.
 
'Laal Singh Chaddha' is a comedy-drama film created by Atul Kulkarni and based on Winston Groom and Eric Roth's Forrest Gump. Advait Chandan, who previously directed Aamir's 'Secret Superstar,' directs the film. Satyajit Pande shot the film, and the music was created by Pritam, with Tanuj Tiku providing the background score; it is claimed to have been produced with a massive budget of Rs 180 crores, and Telugu star Naga Chaitanya made his Hindi cinema debut.
