Lakshmi Manchu was recently in the news for her philanthropy. Lakshmi Manchu will cycle 100 kilometers for the Aditya Mehta Foundation. Funds raised through the cycle drive will help para-athletes.
"The smell of fresh air and the sound of wind, was just astonishing as I rode 35 KMS with @adityamehtafoundation! I will be bicycling 100kms!! Yes 100 kms to raise funds for the para-athletes who'll be trained at the infinity para sports academy and rehab center. 100KMS HERE I COME!" Lakshmi had written while sharing a clip of her cycling away as she trains for the event.
Lakshmi Manchu recently made her digital debut with her talk show Coming Back to Life. The talk show premiered on Rana Dauggubati's YouTube channel.
On the work front, Lakshmi Manchu was last seen in the web series Mrs Subbalakshmi. The web series followed the life of a married couple. Srinivas Avasarala was the male lead. The series revolved around marital problems. Written by Balabhadrapatruni and directed by Vamsi Krishna, the film was produced by Lakshmi Manchu herself. Lakshmi was last seen essaying a supporting role in the film Kaartin Mozhi. Kaartin Mozhi has Jothika in the lead and was a remake of the Bollywood film Tumhaari Sulu starring Vidya Balan.
Lakshmi will next appear in a web series on Zee5. Tharun Bhascker is the director of the web series. The web series is a political drama and Lakshmi will be the main lead.
