Lavanya Tripathi is a well-known actress across the Telugu states over the past eight years. But she doesn't have such wide popularity in Tamil Nadu. Over the past six years, she acted in two Tamil films, Bramman (2014) and Maayavan (2017). Now, after a gap of three years, she is all set to make a comeback into Tamil cinema. Lavanya got signed up as the female lead in-hero Atharvaa Murali's upcoming film which is being directed by debutant Ravindra Madhava.
This will be the third Tamil venture of Lavanya in the last six years. Ravindra Madhava has assisted Koratala Siva in the past for the film Srimanthudu. He is making his directorial debut with this movie. The sources claimed that the film's shoot will start rolling soon. More details on the launch date, other cast and crew will get announced very soon.
Lavanya is currently acting in the film A1 Express. Sundeep Kishan is playing the lead role in this sports drama. Lavanya and Sundeep are playing the roles of hockey players in this movie. Lavanya pinned a lot of hopes on this film and she is pretty excited about getting more offers after the film's release. In many interviews already, Lavanya told that the role in the film is very special to her. Meanwhile, the Andala Rakshasi actress has also signed another film called Chavu Kaburu Challaga. Directed by debutant Koushik Pegellapati, this film features Karthikeya as the lead hero. Lavanya will join this film's sets very soon.
