Legendary actor becomes an assistant director for Krishna Vamshi

Creative director Krishna Vamshi has had a rough patch over the last few years. None of his films are working at the box office and the director is in dire need to score a big hit to come back to form. Currently, he is helming the film Ranga Marthanda with Prakash Raj in the lead role.

The shoot of this film went on to the floors recently and is progressing at a rapid pace. Krishna Vamshi is currently shooting it in Hyderabad. Both Krishna Vamshi and Prakash Raj share a close bond and are very good friends in real life. Earlier today, the Khadgam director posted a small clip of Prakash Raj doing the artwork on the sets of Ranga Marthanda and tweeted, "New asst director of my team .... god bless him." It is good to see Prakash Raj involved in such creative aspects of the film and we should also appreciate KV's sense of humor about his friend's new work role.

Ranga Marthanda is an official remake of Marathi film Natsamrat, which had Nana Patekar in the lead role. Ramya Krishnan is the female lead of Ranga Marthanda while Brahmanandam, Ali Reza and Rahul Sipligunj are essaying the other important roles. The film will hit the screens in early 2020.
