Lockdown Dairies: What are you watching Mirzapur or Sacred Games

All the time in the world and nothing to do? Well, here are two mafia crime thrillers you can binge-watch. Netflix's very own Sacred Games has a huge fan following. Amazon Prime too has a mafia centered show that has taken over the internet. It is none other than Mirzapur. It is often a discussion as to which of these shows is better than the other. If you have not had the time to catch up with them yet, this is time to binge-watch them!
 
Sacred Games follows the tale of a Mumbai city cop, Sartaj Singh, who gets a call from one of Mumbai's famous gangsters who was missing for a few years. The gangster, Ganesh Gaitonde, gives Sartaj Singh 25 days to save the city of Mumbai. The show depicts the working of the Mumbai underworld. Mirzapur, on the other hand, is a tale of brothers who find themselves amid a mafia war. Sounds intriguing? Be sure to watch Sacred Games on Netflix and Mirzapur on Amazon Prime!
 
Sacred Games is based on Vikram Chandra's 2006 novel of the same name. Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui play the key roles of the show. Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap direct the show. Phantom Movies has produced the show.
 
Mirzapur, on the other hand, stars Ali Fazal, Vikrant Massey, Pankaj Tripathi and Divyendu Sharma in key roles. The series showcases the rustic parts of Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Ghazipur, Lucknow and Gorakhpur. Produced by Excel Leisure, the show has one season on the air. The second season of the acclaimed show will come out later this year.
