With the success of Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram,' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and featuring Suriya's cameo, fans are eagerly awaiting Suriya's collaboration with the young director. Though fans would prefer to see the 'Vikram' sequel begin soon, actor Suriya appears to be interested in a previous project, 'Irumbu Kai Mayavi,' which he was discussing with Lokesh Kanagaraj.
It is known that director Lokesh Kanagaraj has already pitched Suriya an idea for the project 'Irumbu Kai Maayavi,' which has been in the works for five years. While the film did not start well, the young director, who is set to collaborate with Vijay for 'Thalapathy 67,' has revealed that Suriya has expressed interest in restarting 'Irumbu Kai Maayavi' and has frequently inquired about the project.
'Irumbu Kaai Maayavi' is said to be based on the comic book 'The Steel Claw.' The film is about a super-hero who loses one of his hands in an accident and then fights crime with a metal hand. The director previously stated that pre-production work had been ongoing for 8 months. With Suriya so enthusiastic about the project, fans can expect the film to be completed soon.
