Lokesh Kanagaraj Shares Wish To Remake Ajith’s ‘Dheena.’

One of the many talented South Indian directors, Kanagaraj, earned the moniker "the director without flops." Following "Vikram," the director is currently writing the script for his upcoming Vijay movie, tentatively titled "Thalapathy 67." When asked which Ajith movie he would like to remake in front of the general audience during an event, Lokesh Kanagaraj reportedly responded that he would be interested in doing so for the actor's 2001 hit movie "Dheena."

When "Dheena," a commercial success, was released in 2001, it was directed by AR Murugadoss and served as his directorial debut. The fans were pleased with Lokesh Kanagaraj's response because they had been eagerly anticipating the pairing of Ajith and the filmmaker, and this response has now given them optimism that the latter is considering Ajith.

Ajith's most recent film, Valimai, was released in February of this year. He is currently waiting for the release of his next movie, Thunivu, which was directed by H Vinoth and will be released for Pongal in 2023. Shortly after that, he is anticipated to begin production on his upcoming movie, AK 62, which Vignesh Shivan is reportedly directing.
