Made in China: Release of Rajkummar Rao’s movie shifted to Diwali

With their next film, 'Made in China', Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy are mostly ready to join the screen space together for the first time. Directed by famous Gujarati director Mikhil Musale and created by Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan, this movie has been revealed over a year earlier.

Its release is delayed several times. As per the recent report, this movie will be released by the producers on Diwali this year. The movie has been confirmed previously for Independence Day 2019 but the 'Mission Mangal' and 'Batla House' high-octane conflict compelled the filmmakers to postpone the release to August 30.
But, Prabhas starrer adventure thriller 'Saaho' which was too early planned to reach the theatres on Independence Day later seized the place on August 30 causing 'Made in China' producers to reschedule their film.
Recent reports indicate that this year the producers lastly wanted to release the movie on Diwali. If the statements are to be accurate, the movie will make provision for the next conflict at the box office, butting heads with Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar starrer 'Saand Ki Aankh' and Akshay Kumar starrer 'Housefull 4', both expected to hit the screens on October 25 and October 26.
A Gujarati folk song called 'Odhani Odhu' is allegedly being recreated by Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy in the movie. Made in China ' is a comedy movie that has been shot widely in Ahmedabad, Mumbai and China.
