Among the guests were Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Rekha, Aishwarya Rai, and Kareena Kapoor. Alia Bhatt, Maheep Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Tom Holland, Penelope Cruz, and Zendaya were also present. The two-day event showcased Indian dress, textiles, and crafts' impact on international fashion since the 18th century. The exhibition features Western couture and ready-to-wear designs influenced by India. The designs were from the 20th and 21st centuries.

She shared her experience getting ready, the performances, and the food. She wore a black saree with a matching shimmery jacket and silver jewelry. The photo of the food included a huge silver thali with various Indian dishes. Food on display had rotis, dal, palak paneer, curry, halwa, dessert, papad, and laddoo. There was also a glass of wine and water on the table next to the thali. Maheep also shared a photo of her daughter Shanaya Kapoor with her niece-actor Sonam Kapoor.
