Superstar Mahesh Babu has entered into the multiplex business about a year ago by starting his won multiplex, AMB Cinemas. Located in the Gachibowli area of Hyderabad, this is one of the most luxurious multiplexes in the city. Now, he is planning to expand the chain by setting up a new venture in Bangalore.
Mahesh Babu has started AMB Cinemas in association with Asian Cinemas. Apparently, Sunil Narang of Asian Cinemas has suggested Mahesh to setup another AMB cinemas in Kapali theatre of Bangalore. Narang found it to be the best option in the city to turn into a multiplex. It seems that Mahesh was also impressed with the idea and immediately given his nod to complete the works.
We heard the works of this new multiplex will begin soon. Bangalore is a major hub for Telugu films and Hindi films. Thus, Mahesh thought that it would be the right destination for his second branch of AMB Cinemas. If everything falls in place, this multiplex will be available in a couple of years. Not only Mahesh Babu but also other star heroes like Allu Arjun and NTR are also planning to set up their own multiplexes, says the sources.
