Maharshi released today last year and successfully completed a year. On the release day, the film opened to a blockbuster talk and impressed one and all. The film also created many records and ended up being one of the best films in Mahesh's career. Mahesh also expressed his joy over the movie's record breaking collections during the time of release. The fans are celebrating the film's first birthday on Twitter today.
Maharshi revealed Mahesh Babu in three different get-ups. Mahesh played a college student, a CEO, and a farmer in the movie. Mahesh looked ever-handsome and stylish in the film. Allari Naresh played a key role in the film which helped his career a lot. At the same time, Pooja Hegde played the leading lady in the movie. Mahesh and Pooja combination came up for the first time and impressed all. Devi Sri Prasad scored the audio album of the film. The film carried a good message that is very relevant in current times. A commercial entertainer packed with a social message is always a great formula for Mahesh at the box-office.
Vyjayanthi Movies, PVP Cinema, Sri Venkateswara Creations, and GMB Entertainments came forward to produce the film. Mahesh and Vamshi were supposed to team up again but it is not happening now.
