The official announcement for Superstar Mahesh Babu’s next venture with director Parasuram came out yesterday. The title poster for the film titled Sarkaru Vaari Paata has since then become a viral phenomenon. It is well known that director Parasuram had a tough time to find the lead actor for his venture even with the success of the Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Geeta Govindam. Sources say that Mahesh Babu was not the first choice for Sarkaru Vaari Paata. It was none other than Stylish Star Allu Arjun.
According to reports, director Parasuram narrated the film to Allu Arjun. Allu Arjun decided to pass on the film as the narration failed to impress him. Director Parasuram then took his script to Mahesh Babu and narrated the story to him. Mahesh Babu seems to have seen something that Allu Arjun did not and is now starring in the film. With all the attention that film is getting, maybe Allu Arjun might regret passing on the film later on.
On the work front, Allu Arjun is looking forward to the release of the Sukumar directorial Pushpa. Allu Arjun will also star in Venu Sriram's ICON. Producer Dil Raju is bankrolling the film under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Mahesh Babu is looking forward to working on Sarkaru Vaari Paata whose film shoot might begin after the lockdown. The film is jointly produced by Mythri Movies, GMB Entertainments, and 14 Reels Plus. S Thaman is composing the film’s music. Mahesh Babu is also making his debut as a producer with the Adivi Sesh and Sobhita Dhulipala starrer Major directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka.
