Mahesh Bhatt Will Not Attend a Brahmastra Private Screening; He Will Instead Attend a Public Screening

Brahmastra, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, will hit theatres in only one day. Besides Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni, it is one of the most anticipated movies of 2022. In the Ranbir movie, Alia's Shah Rukh Khan will also make a cameo appearance and play the part of "Vanar Astra." The development of Brahmastra took over ten years, and five years were spent on manufacturing. Mahesh Bhatt, Alia's father, and the film's director will reportedly no longer attend the Brahmastra private screening.

 
According to a family member of Mahesh who talked to ETimes: "Mr. Bhatt plans to go and watch the film with the audience. He has decided to buy a ticket and watch this special film on his own and not at an industry or private screening. He wants to experience the film with the people."
 
In Sadak 2, Mahesh collaborated with his daughter Alia Bhatt, as well as Pooja, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, and other actors. Mahesh returned to directing for the first time in 19 years with the sequel to his 1991 success.
 
Ayan Mukerji is the film's director, and it will be released on September 9, 2022, in theatres worldwide in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Ranbir and Ayan have now worked with them three times, before on Wake Up Sid (2009) and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013). While working together for the first time is Alia and Ayan. As the first installment of a trilogy that will make up the Astraverse, the movie is meant to serve that role.
 
Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures are the producers and financiers of Brahmastra: Part One- Shiva. It is one of the costliest Indian movies to date and is said to have cost over Rs 400 crore to make.
