The movie "Raksha Bandhan", starring superstar Akshay Kumar will begin streaming on OTT on October 5, the streamer announced on Saturday. The family drama, directed by Aanand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon, was shown in theatres in August.
Lala Kedarnath (Kumar) and his relationships with his four sisters are the subjects of the story "Raksha Bandhan." It addresses themes like dowry and body shaming and focuses on his attempts to marry off his sisters.
With the film's distribution on an OTT platform, Kumar expressed his happiness that it would be seen by more people.

As well as playing the character of Kumar's on-screen love interest, Bhumi Pednekar, the film also stars Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, and Smrithi Srikanth as the actor's sisters.
