Mammootty's One will definitely have a theatrical release, confirms its director Santhosh Vishwanath

Megastar Mammootty will be next seen in the movie One. Directed by Santhosh Vishwanath, this movie is a political drama. It features Mammootty in the role of the Chief Minister of Kerala. From the last few weeks, it is being rumored that the movie will have a direct online release. However, the director Santhosh has confirmed that it will have a theatrical release for sure and asked fans not to believe in any fake news.

Santhosh cleared off the air in a recent interview. He said that there are two more working days to finish the film. The team is not in a hurry to shoot those portions now. They will resume the shoot only when the situation gets back to a normal state. He also clarified that the producer is supporting the idea of releasing the film in theaters and not on any OTT platform. However, Santhosh didn't react on Netflix buying the streaming rights of the film. Even if it does, the movie will get streamed on the platform only after the theatrical release. This confirmation from the director has relieved all Mammootty's fans.

One was originally slated for the release on May 22. The new release date will get announced once the theaters reopen across the country. Bobby and Sanjay wrote the script of One. Gopi Sunder is composing the music of it. One is being bankrolled by Ichais Productions.
