Through the past few months, the reports are flowing in, saying that director Sreenu Vaitla is starting the production of sequel of his superhit film Dhee with Manchu Vishnu as the lead. Responding to these rumors, Vishnu Manchu said that people should ask Sreenu Vaitla about it. He also requested audiences not to involve him in the issue.
"Chalamandi naku phone chese Dhee 2, @SreenuVaitla garu direction lo start avuthundhi ani congrats chepparu. Naaku anna lanti @SreenuVaitla garu ni, aadhigithe better. Project details varaku, #NanuInvolveCheyakandi (Many people are calling and congratulating me about Dhee 2. You should ask my brother Sreenu Vaitla about it. Until then, don't involve me in this project details.)"
Dhee was the 2007 comedy caper which was a blockbuster at the box office. Genelia played the female lead in it. We have to see if Sreenu Vaitla responds to Vishnu's statement and speaks about this much-awaited sequel. It looks like the project is happening, but Vishnu is trying to promote the film. As of now, this looks like a publicity stunt but it is also possible that Vishnu might be telling the truth too. In any case, it will be good if the sequel takes off.
Meanwhile, Vishnu is currently busy with the post-production works of his upcoming film Mosagallu. Touted to be a heist thriller, this film features Kajal Aggarwal and Suneil Shetty in the other important roles. Chinese-American director Jeffrey Gee Chin is helming the project. Many foreign technicians are working on this film. Mosagallu will hit the screens this summer.
