The shooting of ace director Mani Ratnam's upcoming much-awaited movie 'Ponniyin Selvan' is currently going on at a high pace. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who's playing one of the lead roles in the movie is also participating in the shoot.
As per the latest reports, the shooting of this period's historical High Budget movie is taking place in Thailand. The sources are revealing that the movie requires an extensive shooting in temples and as Mani Ratnam failed to get the permission to shoot in the temples of Tamil Nadu, he moved his cast to Thailand to shoot in the temples there. Aishwarya Rai who collaborated with Mani Ratnam for the fourth time is playing a negative role in this flick.
Rumors came out that Nayanthara
got replaced with Trisha
but the movie unit confirms that Nayanthara is very much in the movie. Vikram Jayam Ravi etc are also playing crucial roles in the film. AR Rahman collaborated with Mani Ratnam for the 15 times with this film.
Let us hope that things go on at a good pace and the makers finish the movie on time and bring it to the theatres as per their plan.
