Ayisha is a film that is similar to the life story of Nilambur Ayisha, who is the most important figure in the history of artistic and cultural development in Kerala. When Manju Warrier came on screen as Ayisha in the film, which released last week, it became another new experience for the audience. Although the film does not tell the early life of Nilambur Ayisha, the director Aamir Pallikal has managed to bring her to the screen with the importance she deserves.
Ayisha's story takes place in Saudi Arabia. Manju Varrier will play the role of Ayisha, who comes to the Gulf as Gaddama to escape from life's problems. The story takes a different turn when Manju becomes the beloved maid of the main character, whom everyone calls Mama in the palatial household. An incident in a Saudi market takes Ayisha back to her past. This reveals to the audience the face of Ayisha, a strong woman who used to walk with drama and revolution. Ayisha brought the later events to the screen in an interesting and heartwarming way.
Ayisha was released on 104 screens in Kerala. The film was screened in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Haryana, and UP. This is a big-budget film. It will be the first time that a female-centric film has been made on such a large canvas in Malayalam. Ayisha is one of the notable characters in Manju Warrier's acting career.
Ayisha has been penned by Ashif Kakkodi. Apart from Manju Warrier, Radhika, Sajna, Poornima, and others are also in the film. Under the banner of Cross Border Camera, Zakaria is producing the film.
Shamsuddin, Zakaria Wawat, Harris Desam, and Anish P.B., under the banners Feather Touch Movie Box, Imagine Cinemas, and Last Exit Cinemas, are the co-producers of this film. Magic Frames is bringing the film to theaters. Cinematography is handled by Vishnu Sharma.
