In a new trailer released by DC comics this week, Margot Robbie is seen reprising her role as Harley Quinn. As last seen in David Ayer's Suicide Squad, Harley will be seen encountering new foes in the city of Gotham alongside some new faces.
The trailer introduces us to Quinn after her break up with the Joker(Jared Leto's version), her longtime boyfriend and fellow criminal. But as Quinn announces it is now her time to shine. Joining the likes of other superheroes like Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and detective Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez.)
Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipated of one Harley Quinn or for short Birds of Prey is again set in the fictional city of Gotham. Where Quinn will be seen on the mission of saving Cassandra Cain alongside her teammates from Black Mask, a villain straight out of the DC comics.
The trailer looks familiar to the earlier Suicide Squad film in both its music and look. However, we sincerely hope that this new all-girls team delivers a better film than the last time Quinn was seen on the big screen.
