Margot Robbie will soon be starring in a film directed by David O. Russel. Russel's film is a drama feature film and also stars Christian Bale alongside Robbie. The film is still untitled.
The untitled film is Russel's comeback since Joy. Joy stars Jennifer Lawrence in the lead role and came out way back in 2015. Now after half a decade the director is back with another film. David O. Russel himself is writing as well as directing the film and it's supposed to be a completely original work of fiction. New Regency will be producing the film and distribute it via their deal with 20th-century studios. Matthew Budman is also going to be one of the main producers. Budman before worked with Russel on the sets of Joy and American hustle. Budman produced both those films and seems to have put his trust and money once again in Russel's upcoming film.
Lately, Margot Robbie is busy receiving Oscar nominations for her role in Bombshell. On the big screen, Robbie is currently starring as Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey. The film comes under the larger DC comics line up of films and follows the events post suicide squad.
